  1. No way! Money is just money….parenting time is way more important and is what affects the child for the rest of their lifetime. Arraers payments can be made up but time lost is not so easy to recoup.

    • I agree Barbara, I believe parents should never bad mouth the other parent in front of their children or like you said punish a child to get even with the other parent.

  2. Absolutely not, we had trouble making payments sometimes, but we always tried our best. And if a parent wants to be a part of that child’s life, let them! The child doesn’t care about money, why hurt that child for your own selfishness?? Now that my step-children live with us, their mom gets to see them whenever she wants, and we haven’t received CS in over four years.
